Dylan O’Ryan is an Environmental Data Research Associate in the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division. Dylan has a background and interest in environmental studies, surface water quality monitoring, participatory (citizen) science, and stormwater management (BMP development). He is interested in applying his field-based experience to streamline data and metadata management.

Dylan works on the ESS-DIVE (Environmental System Science Data Infrastructure for a Virtual Ecosystem) and Watershed Function SFA projects. For ESS-DIVE, he is on the Community Engagement Team and focuses on data publication, data standardization using community reporting formats, and community engagement. For the Watershed Function SFA, he is on the SFA Data Team and focuses on data and metadata management, standardization of project data using ESS-DIVE’s community reporting formats, and field-data integration.
