I am an interdisciplinary hydrogeologist focused on how climate, earthquakes, volcanoes, and tides shape planets and their hazards. Specifically, my research focuses on fundamental questions such as how volcanic eruptions and earthquakes initiate and end, how hydrothermal ecosystems form and persist, and how climate change affects hazards.
