A cross-disciplinary community is needed to co-develop tools, concepts and research campaigns in the lab and field to push bioaerosol science to build a foundation for long-term progress and into the next generation of scientific discovery. This presentation will include findings from a recent workshop, “Bioaerosols in the Earth System”, that was convened in 2025 to assess research gaps and frontiers.
