University students studying water systems often learn using just one model chosen by their teacher. We’ve made this more flexible by using the eWaterCycle platform, which lets students work with different water models from around the world. We’ve also shared our teaching materials openly through a new interactive format called 'teachbooks,' which makes learning hands-on and easy to access. Even bachelor’s students now use this platform to explore their own research questions. To help teachers everywhere build custom courses without starting from scratch, we also created a tool called the 'recombiner' that lets them mix and match chapters from different teachbooks with their own materials.
