NASA holds a huge collection of Earth science data, and it’s growing fast—especially with new missions like NISAR. Right now, most of the data is stored in the cloud, and NASA plans to fully move there by 2026.

This talk shares what we’ve learned so far and how we’re planning ahead. Moving to the cloud brings new challenges, but also big benefits—like better protection and easier access to data for the future.
