We use Dual-Comb Spectroscopy, a method in which two precisely tuned lasers are used to identify gas concentrations in the air, in coordination with a high-altitude helium balloon to investigate how the most potent greenhouse gasses are distributed in the lowest layer of Earth's atmosphere.
