Methane observations from satellites and aircraft can support methane emissions monitoring and inform mitigation decisions, but often further information is needed to contextualize the observations and tie emissions to root cause at a facility. Here, we use various tools and datasets to link methane emissions data to facility attributes and sub-facility activities, providing key insights on methane budgets and actionable information to guide mitigation.
