We report on the latest data and results from the Rock Valley Direct Comparison Experiment. This multi-year, multi-institutional project in southern Nevada will compare the seismic signals from shallow earthquakes with small planned chemical explosions to improve our ability to identify the sources of seismic waves. in 2025 we completed drilling a corehole to below the depth of shallow background micro-seismicity which we recorded on borehole and surface seismometers and fiber optic cable. We will describe the overall project, results to date and next steps.
