We report on the production of methane from both incubation of sugarcane bagasse (a byproduct of sugarcane processing) in air and nitrogen (to simulate aerobic and anaerobic environments, respectively) as well as preliminary findings from field measurements of methane from storage of sugarcane bagasse.
