We present a new framework to share maps of the Earth past using solely open source solutions. The maps have a global coverage and span the entire Phanerozoic (last 545 million years). They depict the evolving geography (palaeogeography), seafloor ages, thicknesses of lithosphere and the crust, as well as the maximum hydrothermal penetration depth.

The solutions used to power the Palaeo Data Cube include GeoServer, STAC, GeoNetwork, Zenodo. We use a data cube approach to share data, making it possible to access slices of data either by products described above or by time in a single product. We also allow time series query.
