NASA researchers have joined with the University of Alaska Fairbanks and Oregon State University to develop a guide to heliophysics in the format of a coloring book for adults. The coloring book addresses ten themes associated with the Sun and its influence on our solar system. The recently published book appeals to all audiences, including youth and lifelong learners. Alaska Native language terms are introduced within its pages, and a corresponding website allows users to hear how the words are pronounced. There are online guides to help teachers identify relevant academic standards addressed within the book.
