This is the first study showing that Solar Radio Bursts (SRBs) activity transfers entropy to Solar Energetic Particles (SEPs) affecting their thermodynamics, and measuring the coupling of this wave-particle interaction.

High frequency SRB-III may eventually drift down to the plasma frequency, a resonance that allows for energy transfer from SRBs to plasma environment. However, for SRBs that stay in high frequencies do not transfer any energy, but they can effectively transfer entropy, as explained and shown in this paper.

It is now straightforward to use the developed method to investigate wave-particle interactions across other SRB activity and SEP events, establishing a consistent characterization of the SRB-SEP wave-particle coupling, and how this coupling may vary over different types of waves activities and particle populations.
