On July 23rd, 2025 two University of Iowa magnetometers launched on the TRACERS satellites. These magnetometers represent the development and commitment of the MAGIC team to supply scalable, science ready magnetometers for space science. These magnetometers are designed and built in house, with the ability to accommodate current electronics which rely on a dwindling supply of no longer produced Infinetics ring cores. We present the initial results of this technology demonstration to the science community and insight into the future of the platform.
