Wolstenholme Fjord in Northwest Greenland is home to three marine-terminating tidewater glaciers: Chamberlin, Moltke, and Rasmussen that have retreated over the past decade. We present evidence from oceanographic data, collected in 2017 and 2025, and long-term meteorological data from automatic weather stations that show strong ocean warming in the fjord and an upward trend in regional atmospheric temperatures. Most strikingly, we observe up to ~2°C warming in the lower ocean and warm water reaching the glaciers faces even during the winter. We discuss the context of these significant changes as well as plans for future observations in 2026 and 2027.
