Atmospheric aerosol particles are important determinants of Earth's radiative balance and air quality. Earth system models make simplifications in their representations of aerosol properties to maintain computational efficiency, but these simplifications incur modeling errors. In this project, we quantify model error attributable to these simplifications for the case of secondary organic aerosol condensation and evaporation.
