Topography at the interface between the liquid core and solid mantle can interact with flows in the core. These interactions can affect the geomagnetic field and the length of Earth's day. Here we present numerical simulations in which a variety of topographies are placed on the core mantle boundary. We discuss how different topographies affect flow speeds, heat transport, and pressure torques between the core and mantle.
