  1. A 3D analytical canopy SIF RTM combining GO and p-theory was proposed.

  2. The model implements the asymmetry of leaf SIF emissions in single scattering.

  3. Simple analytical spectral invariant parameters were adopted in multiple scattering.

  4. No dependence on RTMs to calculate p-theory parameters for each scattering order.

  5. Ignoring asymmetric leaf SIF could result in underestimation of top-of-canopy SIF.
