AVAIL (A Virtual Agricultural Innovations Laboratory) is a NASA-initiated effort to support agricultural decision making using a wide suite of satellite and ground observations, biophysical and geophysical models, and machine learning techniques. AVAIL’s technological framework allows for high quality, unified assessments of innovative systems that help increase resilience and profit for Iowa agricultural stakeholders. This presentation describes the AVAIL framework, highlights technical innovations, and provides early results showcasing the linked modeling system.
