We present results from a large scale survey of methane emissions in two major oil and gas basins over two years. We integrate data from hundreds of thousands of site visits using infrared imagery to characterize methane plumes in the Haynesville and Anadarko basins of the central US. These survey data are supplemented with space-based observations and statistical modeling of small sources. We will explain methods and results, offering insights into rigorous methods of data integration between different types of sensors.
