This study investigates regions of enhanced magnetization at the Mare Crisium basin during the Firefly Blue Ghost Mission 1. These regions are known to interact with the local plasma which changes based on lunar phase (including full Moon when the Moon is in the Earth’s magnetotail). We study this using a model called AMITIS which captures the three dimensional effects of the physics of the plasma with the crustal fields.
