The NISAR satellite now in orbit will measure cm-level deformation of Earth's surface. Here we present a summary of the quality of NISAR initial interferograms, along with predicted performance levels of long time series of deformation. In particular this system will be more sensitive to ionospheric artifacts than similar systems, so a key part of this presentation is to find the main contributing sources of interferogram error.
