Coastal regions face increasing risks from sea level rise, land subsidence, and compound flooding, posing significant challenges to infrastructure, ecosystems, and communities. This session invites contributions that advance understanding and implementation of mitigation, adaptation, and risk management strategies in response to these growing threats. We welcome research that explores solutions to these threats, broadly defined, including approaches that explicitly address extreme sea-level change, engineering solutions for infrastructure resilience, nature-based strategies for coastal protection, innovative policy frameworks for coastal adaptation, and community-driven approaches to improve preparedness and response. Submissions that utilize and/or integrate geodetic data, hydrological models, and remote sensing tools to inform decision-making are encouraged. By emphasizing practical and interdisciplinary solutions, this session complements ongoing research on the physical processes driving relative sea-level change, fostering a holistic understanding of both the drivers and solutions for coastal resilience.
