Early career opportunities are imperative for scientists to develop myriad applicable skills for their future careers. Often, these burgeoning scientists are not presented with all of the career paths available to them. This town hall aims to create a space for students and early-career researchers to explore academic, government, non-profit, and industry opportunities and pathways where they can apply the skills they learned pursuing education in Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology. Organized by the AGU Paleoceanography and Paleoclimatology Early Career Researchers Working Group, this Town Hall will feature a structured panel of people familiar with paleo-related careers, as well as a Q&A and discussion period, to broaden the scope and increase visibility of career possibilities for members of our community.
