This session explores advances in research on seismoacoustic signals—acoustic and seismic waves generated by natural phenomena (e.g., earthquakes, volcanoes, severe weather) and anthropogenic sources (e.g., explosions, aircraft, industrial activity). These signals can travel long distances and couple across the Earth-atmosphere interface, offering unique insights into source processes and the propagation environment. We welcome contributions across the spectrum of seismoacoustic research, including: (1) Explosion monitoring and event discrimination, with relevance to national security and treaty verification, (2) Anthropogenic source modeling, (3) Volcano monitoring and signal characterization, (4) Development and deployment of instrumentation, (5) Numerical and theoretical modeling of seismoacoustic wave propagation and coupling, (6) Signal processing, data fusion, and interpretation methods, (7) Studies of acoustic-gravity waves and interactions with atmospheric structure, (8) AI/ML applications for large-scale data analysis or modeling. We encourage work that connects modeling with observation, integrates multiple data types, or advances capabilities in seismoacoustic monitoring at all scales.
