Fostering inclusive, transparent, and collaborative geoscience learning environments is essential to drive innovative research and address complex global challenges. This session invites educators, researchers, and open science advocates to share strategies and community-level takeaways for creating inclusive and accessible learning spaces that promote engagement and empower the next generation of scientists and researchers. This session aims to showcase effective models and methods, identify persistent barriers and solutions, and build a global network of practitioners committed to inclusive, transparent, and collaborative geoscience learning. Submissions may include innovative teaching practices or models, classroom and community case studies, efforts to increase equity and access for diverse learners, and mechanisms for driving global engagement in geosciences. We also welcome reflections on challenges and practical solutions for integrating open data, tools, and computational approaches into both formal and informal geoscience education settings.
