This session highlights recent observational and theoretical advancements in understanding particle acceleration during solar flares. Contributions emphasizing directivity of accelerated particles, particle transport and energy deposition, and magnetic trapping are particularly encouraged. New observational insights, enabled by high-resolution X-ray and radio imaging spectroscopy, and complementary in-situ measurements, are crucial for advancing our understanding. We aim to foster discussion on coordinated, multi-mission observations and integrated modeling approaches to enhance knowledge of acceleration mechanisms. Researchers from observational, theoretical, and instrument-development backgrounds are invited to participate, promoting cross-community collaborations essential for comprehensive studies of solar flare particle acceleration. This session will address current challenges in interpreting recent observations, comparing competing theoretical models, and improving predictive capabilities. Contributions exploring innovative methodologies, novel analytical techniques, or simulations that shed new light on the complex interplay between accelerated particles and the dynamic solar environment are particularly encouraged.
