As global challenges such as climate change, population growth, urbanization, and resource scarcity intensify, integrated research approaches are more crucial than ever. The Water-Energy-Food-Health (WEF-H) Nexus offers a powerful framework for tackling these interconnected issues and advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Traditional research silos are no longer sufficient; a transdisciplinary approach is essential, uniting Earth sciences, biology, chemistry, engineering, public health, and policy. This session brings together academia and industry to share cutting-edge research and explore collaboration within the WEF-H framework. We invite abstract submissions that address critical challenges and innovative solutions across WEF-H sectors. Outcomes will include identifying research priorities, forming cross-disciplinary partnerships, and generating actionable recommendations to bridge science and policy in nexus governance.
