Underpinning the space sciences is a broad network of policy elements that impact how, why, and where research is conducted within the national and international communities. For these communities to reach their full potential, there is need to align scientific priorities with sustainable policy frameworks. This session focuses on space policy across organizations and nations, advocacy efforts and their outcomes, and educational programs that aim to increase policy understanding. The session will also serve as a platform for discussing future plans, strategies, and initiatives to enable effective space policy moving forward.
