Join us for an engaging town hall at AGU25, where the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will present the findings of the NASA-sponsored consensus study, A Science Strategy for the Human Exploration of Mars. This pivotal study delineates the highest-priority scientific objectives achievable through human missions to Mars, integrating insights from decadal surveys, discipline-specific roadmaps, and NASA’s Moon to Mars Objectives. The session will delve into: Identifying and prioritizing key science objectives across disciplines such as geology, astrobiology, atmospheric science, and human health; determining essential measurements and sample collections to address these objectives; and outlining science campaigns aligned with the initial human landings on Mars. This town hall provides an opportunity for the scientific community to learn about the study’s findings, ask questions, and discuss the role of science in future human missions to Mars.www.nas.edu/humans-on-mars
