Commercial Earth observation data have shown to be valuable for Earth and Heliospheric science research and applications. These data provide a cost-effective means to complement data collected from traditional observation missions. As the capabilities of commercial vendors grow, it is important to continuously monitor the development of the new commercial technology, acquire relevant data to complement existing and future missions, and evaluate the data over time. This session invites papers on science research and applications that have used the data from commercial vendors. Additionally, the session is intended for understanding the challenges associated with the usage and management of commercial data.
