Mid-ocean ridges (MORs) are fundamental to the global plate tectonics, where new oceanic lithosphere is created and magmatic, tectonic, and hydrothermal processes interact to shape the seafloor. These environments exhibit different dynamic processes, including crustal deformation, faulting, volcano-tectonic construction, heat and chemical exchanges, and magnetic property variations. MORs also regulate heat and chemical fluxes between Earth's interior and the oceans, influencing global geodynamic cycles. However, our understanding of how these processes function and influence each other remains limited along MORs. This session invites observational, experimental, and modeling contributions that explore any aspect of geophysical processes along mid-ocean ridges. We welcome advances in real-time monitoring, automated data analysis, and the integration of observations from seafloor networks, cabled observatories, and satellite platforms. By bringing together a range of observational and modeling approaches, this session aims to highlight cross-disciplinary advances that illuminate the feedbacks driving MOR structure, evolution, and fluxes.
