2YC and 4YC geoscience programs are key to needed workforce development and research training for students from all backgrounds and locations. These primarily undergraduate institutions are hubs of scholarly teaching practices, of research that involves undergraduates, and of skills necessary to immediately enter the workforce as well as to enter graduate programs. The goal of this session is to understand the successes and challenges of undergraduate geoscience student career path readiness.
