Every organization has its own “superpowers” - those activities you do best, the unique audiences you’re able to reach, or the particular need you address that others miss. In this session, we invite organizations conducting Earth observation training, education, and workforce development to share their superpower, and how it helps them achieve their goals and fill a critical niche. The session will convene speakers across academia, consortia, non-profits, local, state, and federal government organizations, tribal organizations, and the private sector to share the unique methods they employ, why they work that way, and the evidence of their success in ensuring that all have the access and skills they need to use Earth observations for science and action. The session will result in an increased awareness of the specific audience and niche being filled by participants, and will help identify gaps in training, education, and workforce development efforts.
