Recent and upcoming space missions are revolutionizing our view of exoplanets, delivering detailed data on both atmospheric compositions and internal structures. Yet, the interface between a planet’s atmosphere and its deep interior remains a critical blind spot. How do atmospheric observations inform interior composition at extreme pressures? What governs the exchange of material and energy across this boundary? And how do these interactions shape planetary evolution over time? This session explores the coupled nature of planetary atmospheres and interiors, focusing on the physical and chemical processes at their interface. We invite contributions that integrate insights from observations, laboratory experiments, and modeling—from high-pressure physics to spectroscopic analysis and thermal evolution. Studies that bridge disciplines to illuminate the links between atmospheric signatures, interior dynamics, and mass–radius relationships are especially encouraged. Together, we aim to advance a holistic understanding of planetary structure across a diversity of worlds.
