Resilient water planning under climate change demands tools that reflect real-world decisions, account for complexity, and support timely implementation. This session features research that advances the integration of climate-informed adaptation strategies into water resources modeling, planning, and management. We welcome studies that evaluate management alternatives (e.g., infrastructure operations, demand-side measures, nature-based solutions) through scenario analysis, hazard and risk assessment, or decision support frameworks. Contributions that analyze interactions among water-related hazards (e.g., droughts, floods, salinization), integrate across built, natural, and institutional systems, or provide globally applicable datasets, downscaling techniques, and modeling methods are encouraged. We emphasize participatory and transdisciplinary approaches that enhance the equity, transparency, and usability of modeling processes, particularly in watershed-to-coast systems. By connecting technical innovations with actionable decision-making, this session aims to shape the research agenda on global water risks and strengthen the ability of institutions and communities to plan for a resilient and climate-adaptive future.
