Agriculture, both inland and coastal, faces mounting pressures from climate change, land degradation, and resource scarcity. These interconnected challenges threaten food and energy security, ecosystem services, and community livelihoods. This session brings together research that leverages Earth observation, environmental modeling, digital twins, and AI-driven analytics to monitor, understand, and manage agroecosystems under change. We invite contributions that integrate field data, remote sensing, and modeling to assess crop health, soil and water quality, nutrient cycling, greenhouse gas emissions, and yield forecasting across diverse landscapes. We also welcome contributions on coastal agroecosystems, where land–water interactions, carbon dynamics, and ecosystem resilience are shaped by both terrestrial and marine drivers. Interdisciplinary work bridging various disciplines and engaging communities in adaptation and sustainability planning is also encouraged. The goal is to foster dialogue across disciplines and geographies to advance integrated, technology-enabled solutions for resilient food systems in the face of global environmental change.
