Clouds and precipitation critically influence Earth's energy balance, water cycle, and climate sensitivity. However, their representation in numerical weather prediction and Earth system models remains highly uncertain due to complexities in underlying physical processes and multiscale interactions. This session invites contributions aimed at reducing these uncertainties by integrating cutting-edge observations, advanced physics-based and data-driven modeling, laboratory experiments, and theoretical frameworks. We particularly welcome studies including, but not limited to: innovations in observational techniques/platforms/field experiments, advances in physics-based and/or data-driven modeling, cutting-edge laboratory studies, development/application of novel theoretical frameworks or analytical tools, and successful interdisciplinary collaborations. This session aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, encouraging submissions that highlight integrative methods and innovative solutions for advancing our fundamental understanding and predictive capabilities of cloud and precipitation processes.
