Earth Informatics: AI-Ready Datasets & Workflows

This session seeks practical, innovative approaches to building and utilizing AI-ready datasets, tools, and workflows for Earth science. Including:

  • Open-source Earth observation datasets for machine learning.

  • Tools for data labeling, cleaning, augmentation, and standardization.

  • Documentation, metadata, and AI readiness benchmarks.

  • End-to-end AI workflows.

  • Interactive tools for complex datasets.

  • Low-code platforms for Earth AI access.

  • Workflow orchestration and automation.

  • Data quality, reproducibility, and safe AI use.

  • Collaborations among researchers, agencies, and open-source contributors.

Improving Earth Science Data Search & Discovery with AI

We invite agencies, organizations, and individuals to share experiences and future plans regarding the application of technologies like:

  • Chatbots

  • Knowledge Graphs

  • Large Language Models

  • Vector Embeddings

These technologies can be applied to both targeted data search and novel knowledge discovery from existing data. The goal is to learn and provide better solutions to the community.
