This session highlights innovative applications that advance our understanding of Earth resources and their role in a sustainable future. We particularly welcome contributions focused on geothermal systems as clean energy resources and critical mineral exploration, development and remediation. Our goal is to bridge traditional ore deposit studies with broader geological disciplines by showcasing how advanced geochemical, spectral and geophysical methods reveal critical insights into magmatic systems, hydrothermal processes, basin evolution, tectonic environments, geomorphology, and environmental assessment. Submissions are encouraged from researchers applying these approaches to improve mineral exploration, resource characterization, and remediation strategies. We also seek work that demonstrates the potential of new technologies and data analytics to support the sustainable development of Earth resources. By fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, this session aims to connect researchers across fields, attract a diverse audience, and cultivate collaborations that advance science, technology, and sustainable practices.
