This interactive session will dive into the author's experience and teach early-career researchers the tools for writing a good paper, including drafting an outline, composing a clear plain language summary, and making figures accessible for more readers. This session will be geared toward early career researchers, and will expand on important knowledge such as how to avoid common manuscript submission issues and what to expect throughout the peer review process. This session will include a panel of editors at all career levels with ample opportunity for discussion and engagement.
